I'm using the Canon 60D with the EFS 18-200mm lens and have been craving just a little more room when zoomed all the way out (mostly for architectural photography).
Unfortunately, this adapter didn't really give me anything that was more usable. As promised, it did broaden the field, but when I compared images taken with and without, I discovered that all of the added room was beset by vignetting. It's a potentially interesting effect if used creatively, but that's not what I was seeking.
It didn't take long to figure out that this would be just taking up space in my bag, so I returned it.

Works as described. I use it for my Canon 7d on the 28-135mm IS lens. When zoomed all the way out, the wide angle works great. However, expect chromatic aberration when zooming in with the wide angle attached. This is not a problem for me though because I wouldn't be using a wide angle if I was just going to zoom in anyway. The macro works excellent! Without the adapter, the closest object I could focus on was about 1 foot away. With the adapter, I can focus on something about one inch away from the lens!
If you are don't have bags of money, then buy this adapter for around $40 instead of buying $2,000 worth of wide angle and macro lenses.

This screw on lens extension for the 28-135 proved to be a great value for the money. I was after a wider angle, as the 28-135 is pretty limiting, even though it has a 73mm width. I looked for examples of use online, to find none, so I went ahead and purchased one, as it was under 30 bucks. It has been so worth it. It adds another 20% into the field of view. My biggest worry was distortion towards the edges, and I have found very little to none with what I have shot. It has to be all the way zoomed out, or you start getting blur, which is kind of fun too, as it gives a "Lensbaby" Type effect, which those are much more expensive. Basically blurring out all but the center of the photo. The most use I have gotten out of it is with Video. The 7D shoots great video, and this wider angle has helped allot, as you get a much wider angle, in all directions. For under 30$ it has been an excellent value.
